The United Church is London, Ontario is occassionally noted as a "catch-all" denomination. 

        In truth many of London's United Churches were the result of amalgamations of different congregations from a variety of smaller Christian denominations including Pentocostal, Presbyterian, and Calvinist. 

        The mix of these religious sects into one united church has created an interesting landscape in London where it is possible for smaller denominations to maintain independence, but also where the United Churches prosper. 

        The list that follows is a snapshot of the United Churches in London, only detailing some of the oldest and mist successful churches.
